Gala dinner sold out
25 August 2016

The conference Gala dinner will be held at the impressive fourteenth-century Great Hall at Caerphilly Castle - the largest castle in Wales, and the second-largest in Britain after Windsor Castle. Caerphilly Castle covering 30 acres, is one of the grandest surviving castles in the medieval Western world that is built by Earl Gilbert de Clare in 1268. It was a highpoint in medieval defensive architecture with its massive gatehouses and water features, the first truly concentric castle in Britain constructed in the 13th century.

The Gala dinner at Caerphilly Castle includes admission to the castle, complimentary pre-dinner drinks (served on an unlimited basis of 40 minutes), and a five course meal with wine and coffee. The bar at the venue will be open for the duration of the evening if you wish to purchase your own drinks. You will be entertained by Wynne Evans, a Welsh tenor known for his role in the GoCompare.com insurance adverts on television in the United Kingdom and he was cast as the opera singer Ubaldo Piangi in the 25th Anniversary celebratory production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera at the Royal Albert Hall.

The conference Gala dinner is an unmissable opportunity to network with peers in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst discovering the outstanding natural beauty of the South Wales hills and valleys and its historical sites.
